The Ducks Are Here!

Just look at that sweet little face! We are excited to add this group of Khaki Campbell ducklings to our farm. These ducks are excellent egg layers and we look forward to boosting our supply of duck eggs for our customers in 2021.

If you've never tried duck eggs, you are in for a treat. These eggs are extra large with a tough shell that is harder to crack than a hen's egg. The yolks are HUGE, which makes them spectacular for baking up deliciously rich cakes & cookies. We also eat them as you would hen's eggs--scrambled, fried or omelet-style.

The Khaki's will join our other free range ducks and geese at Dad's Pond as soon as they are old enough, but for now they are warm & cozy in the brooder house.
